…and now a Warwick Uni Student!
After a variety of employed roles and distance learning courses, its time to be pushed out of my comfort zone and get back into the classroom.
Usually, people know me through my canine companion as she is not shy at introducing herself to anybody and everybody who will give her some fuss. University is somewhere I hope to challenge myself as an individual and explore my interests as well as build core life skills. Although it has always been ‘safer’ to let anxieties about social situations and ‘fear of failure’ isolate me from experiences, I feel ready to embrace the challenge and learn more about the society in which we exist.
My blog is aimed at being a honest account of my time at Warwick, documenting my challenges, mistakes and hopefully a whole heap of good stuff too! I want to encourage others to step out of their comfort zone by facing my fears and sampling student life to allow readers to form their own thoughts using the results. There will most likely be many mistakes I will learn from but if they make just one person smile then I know my whole experience will be well worth it.
